Foundation Course (Lectures + Hands On)

Home » Foundation Course

The Foundation Course at DGS Institute of Implantology is designed for dentists who want to begin their journey in implant dentistry with clarity and confidence. This course builds a strong base by combining structured lectures with focused hands on training, making it ideal for beginners and general practitioners.

The lecture component covers essential concepts including implant basics, case selection, patient evaluation, radiographic assessment, treatment planning, and implant system understanding. Special emphasis is placed on diagnosis, bone anatomy, sterilization protocols, and step by step surgical workflows. Participants also learn about common mistakes, complication prevention, and long term maintenance of implants.

The hands on training is a key highlight of the course. Dentists gain practical exposure through models, demonstrations, and guided practice under expert supervision. This allows participants to understand implant placement techniques, drill sequences, angulation control, and primary stability in a controlled learning environment.

Throughout the course, experienced faculty provide close mentoring, encourage interaction, and address real clinical questions. Small batch sizes ensure personalized attention and better learning outcomes. By the end of the Foundation Course, participants gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to safely assist, plan, and begin basic implant procedures in clinical practice. This course sets a strong platform for advanced implantology training.
